Southampton man charged with rape after attack in Palmerston Park

Police cordoned off a large area of Palmerston Park after a 19-year-old woman was attacked on Sunday morning. 

Rosario Raquel Dos Reis,  27, of St Mary Street, Southampton, has been charged with rape and two counts of sexual assault.

He is currently in custody and is due to appear in court today.
