WWE: The Undertaker reveals secret message to Bray Wyatt on Raw XXX
The Undertaker has revealed his secret message to Bray Wyatt during their passing of the torch moment at Raw XXX.
Although Bray had previously insisted he would never talk about what was said between them, Undertaker has opened up on the exchange.
Speaking to Sportsnet, he said: ‘I just let him know too that my phone’s always on and if he needs to talk to me about things or run things by me, that’s cool.
‘I would be more than glad to share my experiences with him and hopefully shine some light on questions that he has moving forward. It was a cool moment and it did exactly what I thought it would do.’
There have been plenty of comparisons between Bray and the Dead Man when it comes to the supernatural elements of their personas, but ‘Taker has insisted the former world champion is his ‘own guy’ and ‘own character’.
He added: ‘I don’t think it’s fair to him to compare what he does to what I did. In the big scheme of things, it’s in the same supernatural genre, but it’s 2023, and he’s doing his own thing, but I can appreciate — I can see what he’s trying to do.’
Bray did insist he wouldn’t open up on the specifics of his and Undertaker’s conversation, he did reveal it meant more than fans realised.
Sharing pictures from Raw XXX and their WrestleMania clash in 2013, he tweeted: ‘This moment justified a lifetime of sacrifices for me. A lifetime of people treating my uniqueness like it was a disease.
‘Through all the bad times I never changed myself to fit anyone’s narrative. I’m proud of that. Thank you Taker. #SuckItLAKnight’.
Meanwhile, Undertaker himself suggested the exchange is one that will live on long in the memory of fans and the performers as he wrote: ‘Moments define this industry. This one was special!’
